Whew It's Been Awhile

Ok, I haven't written in a while and now I'll try to catch up.

First, over our break from CATS Ben, D-HUG, Camilla, and I went on an adventure to the west coast.

After driving across to the west coast we finally arrive at where we are sleeping. This was the reaction from David and me. Especially when.....

Then we decided to go build a bonfire on the beach but before the muddy trek we had to get prepared!

The next morning I couldn't find my socks. They had been stolen! Funnily enough by this very bird!!!

Ok so everyone decided it was a great idea to risk our lives and go hiking through a cave that has a river running through it. It's suggested to have one flashlight for everyone hiking. We had two for the four of us. Half ain't bad right? Well also I was already cold and didn't want to get colder. They begged and pleaded until I finally decided that I might be able to do it in a wetsuit.

Thankfully it started raining and we decided it was a bad idea. Thank God!! Back to Christchurch we went.

Linda's On Her Way!!!

I just talked to my mom and she's about to leave to make that fateful drive to Amarillo so that she can fly to see me. I'll see her in just over 36 hours! She also told me that this is the longest time she's been away from home as well as the furthest!! If nothing else, me coming to New Zealand is worth it all because Linda is getting her booty out of the Northern Hemisphere.

Can't wait till you get here Mom!

The Voices and The Bodies

As I said earlier, and as hard as it is to imagine, Camilla and I are not actually singing our acrobatically filled routine. Here's a picture of Camilla and me with our voices, Naomi, who plays Grizabella, and Michael, who plays Old Deuteronomy.

On Monday, Christchurch's very newspaper, The Press, review our little show and here's what they had to say about yours truly.

"I loved the onstage and interval antics of Mungojerrie and Rumpleteaser, attempting intricate acrobatics but not missing a word of their song."

I love it!!! Read it again! Not missing a word of our song! If he only knew we were lip synching!!! How could we miss a word?!?!

IT'S OPENING NIGHT!!!!

Anyone who knows me, knows I'm not very calm but here's how I looked when I woke up and realized tonight was opening night. I think my nervousness has been brought to a new level.
